Castle Allymes

Military fortress, perched on the foothills of the mountains of Bugey, Castle Allymes seems to watch over the people for over 700 years. Tour, dungeon and curtains recall to the good memory of the visitors the infighting between Dauphiné and Savoie. Classified Historical Monument in 1960, the site in addition to its visit offers each year a rich cultural season including concerts, conferences, exhibitions and events. This castle is located in the heart of a mountainous terrain, the Bugey, ideal for hiking, horse riding or mountain biking. The castle is also located on a tourist route called "Route Bugey"
